Who is responsible for your data
This website is run by The Harbourfront Hotel and HF Ville in Surat Thani, Thailand. The hotel is the data controller, under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA), for the data collected through this website. Contact details are under "Contact us" below.
What we collect
- Availability request form: your name, phone number and any message or note you type, together with the stay details you choose: dates, room type and number of rooms, and number of guests. Please do not send payment-card or identity-document details through this form.
- Information sent with a request: the language you use, the page you arrived on, the website you came from and any advertising campaign tags, so the hotel knows which channel a request came from. These contain no name or phone number and are kept temporarily in your browser during your visit. The system also keeps a one-way, day-scoped hash of the network address, used only to limit unusually many requests.
- LINE and phone: whatever you choose to tell us through those channels.
- "Book online" button: takes you to the hotel's online booking system (loyalty.saichon.com), which the hotel also operates. We pass on only the stay details you chose and a source tag, never your name or phone number. What you enter there is used to process your booking and to contact you about your stay.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and confirm availability and the rate before a booking.
- To measure Google Ads, that is, whether our ads lead visitors to contact the hotel, based only on your consent.
- To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.
Google Ads tag and cookies
This website uses the Google Ads tag to count whether visitors from our ads contact the hotel (tapping LINE, tapping call, sending a request, or tapping "Book online"). It is set up with Google's consent system (Consent Mode). By default we deny ad storage, the use of user data for advertising, and ad personalisation.
- If you press "Accept": Google sets advertising cookies such as _gcl_aw and _gcl_au, which typically last up to about 90 days, to connect an ad click with a contact with the hotel.
- If you press "Decline" or have not chosen: no advertising cookies are set, but Google may still receive basic signals that do not use cookies (for example that this page was opened) to model ad measurement.
- The tag does not send the name, phone number or text you enter in the form to Google.
- Your choice is remembered only in this browser (in localStorage). You can change your mind at any time below, and delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who sees your data
The details in your request are passed to the hotel team through the request system, email and an internal team notification channel, and may sit on the hosting provider the hotel uses. If you accept advertising cookies, Google receives the measurement data described above. Some providers may process data outside Thailand. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Requests sent through the form: up to 12 months from receipt, then deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Visit and campaign tags in your browser: until you close the tab.
- Your cookie choice: until you clear this site's data in your browser or change the choice.
- Google advertising cookies: for the period Google sets (typically up to about 90 days).
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask for access to and a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction of use, to object to its collection, use or disclosure, to receive or transfer it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect use already made before you withdrew. If you believe we have not complied with the law, you may complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand.
